Herby Galicia

With more than 12 years of experience in the healthcare industry, Herby has always had a motivation to help others. His ability to work with people and give them the strength to regain their quality of life is what drives him to do his best for his patients. A former athlete, Herby understands the challenges of treating sports injuries. He has a special interest in this rehabilitation, but his enthusiasm stems from reaching milestones with all his patients - no matter their needs.

Prior to establishing FIT therapy in 2006, he was a home health clinician and a clinic manager for Cora Rehabilitation Clinics. Now he is grateful to serve all his patients at their family owned and operated Miami Lakes office. Herby received his Master’s in Physical Therapy from the University of Central Florida and earned a Bachelor in Exercise Physiology from Florida International University.

Erica Massard Galicia

A high school sports injury is what first led Erica to the world of physical therapy. Her own rehabilitation cultivated her desire to work hands-on with her patients. She works part time as an adjunct instructor in the OT program at St. Augustine University. Erica’s enthusiasm of helping others succeed is evident from the moment you meet her. Building relationships is the cornerstone of F.I.T Therapy and Erica’s practice because a patient’s success is ultimately the greatest reward.

Erica earned her Master’s at Nova Southeastern University with a degree in occupational therapy and has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Florida International University. Her expertise is in orthopedics with a specialty in hand and upper extremity rehabilitation. Throughout her career, Erica has held a variety of roles. Most recently she has served as an instructor at Keiser University’s Occupational Therapy Assistant Program. Prior to this, she worked as a home health provider for injured workers and was a clinician and clinic manager for Cora Rehabilitation for eight years.
